With over 20 years of experience across the creative, finance, and startup worlds, she leads projects from early concept through execution. Aligning creative ambition with commercial, institutional, and governance considerations. As CEO/COO, she structures complex partnerships, safeguards creative integrity, and provides steady stewardship to ensure the company’s work is built for scale, longevity, and lasting cultural impact.
Dr. Ekua Agha
Founder & Chief Creative Officer
Dr. Agha is the founding creative force behind Wednesday 66, whose vision and research-led storytelling catalysed the creation of the company. In her dual role at Wednesday 66 as Chief Creative Officer and the Creative Director of Aguda Returns, she leads the development of our projects’ narrative, guiding the historical, cultural, and artistic direction across international contexts. Through her work, she centres heritage, community voices, and diasporic memory, ensuring each production is both creatively rigorous and culturally responsible.

Sarah shapes the narrative spine of Wednesday 66, developing the frameworks that connect research, story, and audience across complex cultural projects. With a background spanning creative strategy, media, and institutional collaboration, she ensures each Wednesday 66 production is clearly positioned for international partners, funders, and the public. Her work bridges vision and visibility, giving projects the language, structure, and coherence to travel with integrity and influence.
